This address is for IP Lens feedback, support questions, content corrections and privacy enquiries. Selecting the link opens your email application; this page does not submit a contact form or upload a diagnostic report. Your email provider handles the message you choose to send.

We do not publish a guaranteed response time. Please describe the issue in one message and include only the information needed to understand it. You can write in English or Chinese.

Report a tool or display problem

Useful reports explain what you tried, what you expected and what happened instead. Please include:

  • The tool name and the approximate time of the problem, including your time zone.
  • Your browser name and version, operating system, and whether the problem occurs in an installed app window.
  • The visible error message or a cropped screenshot with sensitive details removed.
  • Whether the same step worked after a reload, on another network or in another browser, if you have already tried those checks.

A public example domain is preferable to an internal hostname. You do not need to run extra tests just to send a report. Do not disable security controls or provide access to your device.

Request a data or content correction

For an unclear guide, outdated explanation or translation issue, include the page address and the sentence that needs attention. Tell us what is confusing and, when possible, link to an authoritative source.

For an IP location or registration mismatch, mention the displayed data provider. IP Lens shows third-party information and cannot directly change a provider's database. We can investigate how a result is displayed or explained, but a correction to the underlying record may need to go to that provider or registry.

Ask a privacy question

Use the same email address for questions about this website's data handling or a message you previously sent. Identify the relevant page or correspondence without sending identity documents in your first message. If additional information is necessary, the request should be limited to what is needed to understand and verify the enquiry.

Browser-only lookup history cannot be retrieved from the site operator after the tab has discarded it. Requests concerning information held by a diagnostic provider should also be directed to that provider. See the Privacy Policy for the data flow.

Keep sensitive information out of your message

Never email passwords, access tokens, private keys, authentication cookies or private network configurations. A downloaded JSON report can include full IP addresses, browser properties and previous checks, even when IP masking is enabled. Review it before attaching anything.

If a screenshot is sufficient, crop it to the relevant control or error. For a suspected security issue, send a concise description privately instead of publishing a report containing personal data.

Find an answer before sending

The FAQ explains common unknown results, browser restrictions, sharing and installation. The guides walk through interpreting IP and DNS information. These resources can help you describe the issue, but you do not need to read every article before contacting us.
